BRS works together with AMC
BRS supports and guides AMC by providing coaching and advice on savings products, risk management, internal audit and internal control.
The West African country of Guinea is one of the poorest countries in the world. More than 50% of its 14 million inhabitants are under 20 years of age.
Agriculture remains the main economic sector, providing income for 57% of households. The main crops are cassava, rice, banana, sugar cane, citrus fruits and pineapple. In addition, mining is an important sector with the extraction of bauxite and aluminium production in particular.
The country is highly vulnerable to the effects of climate change with ever less water in the dry season and ever more flooding in the rainy season.
