The Faitière des Associations de services financiers de Guinée (FASeF-Guinée) is a cooperative microfinancing institution accredited by the Central Bank of Guinea in 2015 with the mission of offering financial and non-financial services to its members through a cooperative approach, sustainably contributing to improving their living conditions as a result.

FASeF groups together 25 ASFs (Associations de Services Financiers), local cooperative savings and credit offices spread throughout Guinea.  These ASFs are very close to their 35,000 members, mainly small-scale farmers and low-income rural entrepreneurs.

Two FASeF staff participated in the BRS agrifinance workshop in Senegal in May 2023, and in December 2023, BRS together with Trias organised a cooperative governance workshop for employees of the head office, some ASFs and members of the Board of Directors.  Afterwards, the decision was taken to cooperate further in the coming years around the granting of loans (including for agricultural purposes), risk management and internal controls.
